Map with a Mongol Territory
Mongol Territories are locations throughout Tsushima and Iki that include enemy camps, strongholds, villages, farmsteads, and other locations occupied by soldiers and a mini-boss leader. Each Territory has objectives and bonus objectives, such as rescuing hostages, performing certain techniques (like Shoji Assassination), and using certain weapons. After Jin Sakai clears a Territory of all Mongol forces, he is rewarded with Legend gain and resources.
Liberating Mongol Territories will also help clear up the "Fog-of-War" for a small portion of the map; liberating every Mongol Territory in an entire region will clear the "Fog-of-War" for that region and reveal all the locations not yet found or explored. Liberating minor Territories and farmsteads rewards minor Legend gain and either Iron or Steel. Liberating major Territories rewards moderate Legend gain, Gold, and Technique Points; Sashimono Banners can also be collected. Liberating large towns and strongholds rewards major Legend gain.
