Armor specially designed to be worn by Khotun Khan.
― In-game description
The Mongol Commander's Armor is an armor set in Ghost of Tsushima obtained by completing "Fit for the Khan." Although this armor is claimed to be specially worn by Khotun Khan, it heavily resembles the outfit worn by Mongol Archers encountered in the Kamiagata region, who utilize arrows with poisoned tips.
The armor set shares a unique perk with the Ghost Armor: it significantly reduces the detection speed of all Mongol soldiers. The armor also shares two perks with the Samurai Clan Armor: it increases health and reduces all damage taken, making it the most durable armor set in the game.
To obtain this armor set, Jin Sakai must liberate General Bartu's Camp, General Dogshin's Camp, Kawachi Whaling Village, and Morimae Brewery. Note that both Bartu and Dogshin will engage Jin in a duel after their respective camps have been liberated.
Effects[]
When equipped, the Mongol Commander's Armor significantly increases health and reduces damage, while also disguising Jin out of combat to drastically slow Mongol detection.
In New Game+, the armor set can be upgraded to improve these attributes.

Trivia[]
- The Conqueror's Mask is the only mask that does not cover Jin's mouth; instead, it acts as an eye mask that leaves his mouth and nose exposed.
- Although Jin requires both the Conqueror's Mask and the Mongol Helmet to imitate a Mongol warrior, the outfit perks are exclusive only to the body armor, meaning Jin can equip any helmet, hat, headband, or mask he chooses and still maintain the stealth perks provided by the armor.
- In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the Mongol Commander's Armor is a cosmetic option for the Ronin class. It is unlocked when the player obtains the armor in single-player mode.
