Iki (壱岐島, Iki-no-shima) is an island to the southeast of Tsushima. Jin Sakai once reflects on how he and Ryuzo attempted to sail to Iki during their childhood.
It is the same island that Kazumasa Sakai, Jin's father, invaded fifteen years ago before the Mongol invasion.
Iki is the main location featured in the Iki Island DLC included within the Director's Cut of Ghost of Tsushima.
Jin learns from refugees that the Mongol Eagle Tribe, led by Ankhsar 'The Eagle' Khatun, has seized control of Iki. The Eagle has occupied Fort Sakai, once the stronghold of Jin's father, Kazumasa.
