Headbands are vanity items Jin Sakai can equip under the Helmet portion of the Gear menu. They are purely cosmetic and grant no additional bonuses. There are a total of 55 headbands in Ghost of Tsushima.
Headbands are acquired in a number of ways: completing haiku and Tales, purchasing from Merchants, or collecting in the open world through Exploration. Although the locations of headbands will not appear in the open world (apart from haiku), the Guiding Wind and Golden Songbird can navigate Jin to vanity gear, which also includes masks, hats, helmets, and sword kits.
