The Iki Island is an expansion for Ghost of Tsushima, and is only available in the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut. It is set on the island of Iki, where Jin Sakai goes to explore after hearing about rumors of a Mongol presence. It was released on August 20, 2021.
Plot[]
Jin investigates the small settlement west of Akashima, and finds people in their lost minds, and discovers that the Eagle Tribe, led by "the Eagle" has taken root on Iki. Jin must return to Iki Island to face the new Mongol threat, as well as his past that revolves a samurai legend, Kazumasa Sakai and among the most violent campaigns, is the samurai invasion of Iki.

- The exact placement of the DLC's events in-story is left rather vague. The DLC can be started as soon as Act 2 begins, but several things Jin and other characters say during the events of the DLC suggest it can take place either before or after the finale of the game.
